Traditional cereal groundbait for carp and coarse fishing.

We manufacture a cereal-based groundbait developed as a versatile base mix for carp, match, and coarse fishing.

Our blend combines carefully selected cereals with meat and bone meal to help release natural proteins and amino acids into the water. These compounds act as natural feeding triggers for species such as carp and bream. When mixed with water, the cereal base creates the cloud, texture, and gradual breakdown that anglers look for when preparing groundbait mixes.

This type of cereal groundbait has long been used by anglers as an affordable bulk base for feeder and carp mixes, providing volume, attraction, and excellent mixing properties with pellets, particles, and other additives.

Composition
A balanced mixture of cooked dried meats, meat meals, cooked cereal, vitamins, minerals proteins, fats and salts.

Mixing Instructions

Add Groundbait to a Bucket
Place the required amount of Cobby Carp Groundbait into a large bucket or mixing bowl.
Add Water Gradually
Slowly add warm water while mixing thoroughly. Start with approximately 1 part water to 2 parts dry mix, adding small amounts at a time.
Allow to Absorb
Leave the mix to soak for 10–15 minutes. The cereals will absorb the water and expand.
Break Up the Mix
After soaking, break up any lumps by hand.
Adjust the Consistency
If needed, add a little more water until the groundbait can be squeezed into soft balls that hold together but break apart easily when they reach the bottom.
