Meet the Team

Katy

Katy is one of the directors here at Cobbydog. Katy’s job is based on research and development of new products here at the HQ.

Katy is the daughter of Eddy Horner, one of the co-founders of Cobbydog. In her spare time she likes growing veg and cooking for friends and family.

Rachael

Rachael is one of the directors & Daughter of Stephen Leigh Co-Founder of Cobbydog If you’re ever at our HQ, you’ll see her working hard in the office!

Rachael loves wild swimming and walking her dog Narla. Narla also comes to work with her to test all the treats.

Joey

Joey has worked in the family business for almost 3 years! He is the son of Katy. He has just passed his apprenticeship in performing manufacturing operations. Joey is also a qualified ski instructor and will be going back to the slopes in Zell am see (Austria) in November  

Danny

Danny is one of the directors and son of Stephen Leigh, one of the co-founders. He takes care of all our machines and is invaluable when we have a breakdown. In his spare time he like to spend time on the moors with his dogs and family

Matthew

Matthew, son of Eddy Horner, has joined the team of Directors after 33 years in NHS Finance. He's looking forward to getting 'stuck in' and helping out wherever he can. On weekends, you'll find him golfing or enjoying family walks with his working cocker, Harley.

Chris

Chris is one of the directors and son of Stephen Leigh, one of the co-founders. He is the main man on the phone! He manages staff, purchasing and day to day production. He and his dog Moss enjoy walks in the Yorkshire Dales with friends and Family.

Arco

Arco, husband of Katy, joined us in 2022. He soon became a valued member of the team. He manufactures our dog food and works at incredible speed. In his spare time, to use up his excess energy, he climbs peaks and mountain bikes.

Daisy

Daisy, daughter of Katy and Arco, is working with us during her gap year. She enjoys supporting her family at work. She is looking forward to doing a ski season in Austria this winter before starting a degree course at a musical theatre conservatoire next September.

Lily

Lily, Katy’s daughter, works with us in the school holidays. She enjoys getting all the online orders ready and packing the smaller bags of food on our new multi head weigher!

Beth

Beth is part of the third generation of the Cobbydog family, as the daughter of Danny and granddaughter of Stephen Leigh, one of Cobbydog’s co-founders. 🐾

Beth helps look after our social media and online presence, as well as getting involved in the development and launch of new products. You’ll also find her behind the scenes updating our website and helping customers with any questions or queries.

Em

Em Daughter of Rachael helps to run Cobbydog social media in her spare time alongside Beth. Emily is fantastic and getting all the behind the scenes of Cobbydog.

Mark

Mark has worked with us for over 40 years! He is always busy making our cold pressed products on our pelleting machine. His knowledge and skill of making cold pressed dog food is enormous. A valued member of our team! In his spare time he is interested in watching Sport

Rob

Rob is a great asset to the Cobbydog team and helps with a variety of important jobs across our warehouse.

A big part of Rob’s role involves working with many of the fresh ingredients that go into our products, helping to make sure everything is organised and ready for production.

Ady

Ady is a great asset to the Cobbydog team, helping out with a variety of jobs across our warehouse.

From packing and sending out your Cobbydog orders to organising and scheduling our larger bulk orders, Ady plays an important part in keeping everything running smoothly and making sure orders get where they need to be. 📦🐾

Richard 

Richard is our transportation manager. His job includes supervising shipments, scheduling routes, tracking orders. In his spare time, he likes to play football with his son and walking his dog.

Simon

Simon is a valued member of our factory team. He is very versatile and willing to help in all aspects of manufacturing. In his free time, he likes walking and listening to music.

Katy G

Katy is a key part of the Cobbydog team, helping to pack your orders and keep our stock organised behind the scenes.

Always smiling and happy to get stuck in wherever she’s needed, Katy helps make sure everything stays organised and your Cobbydog orders are packed and ready to head out the door. 🐾📦
