We are delighted to introduce you to the newest member of the Cobbydog dog food collection and this one is just for the pups.
Over the last few months, we have been working on a brand new dog food dedicated to helping puppies grow up strong, healthy and happy.
Cobbydog Premium Puppy is made with healthy fish and chicken and is packed full of vitamins and minerals.
It's a great feed for weaning puppies and the small sizes of kibble make it easier for young dogs to eat and digest.
The food is packed with all the proteins, vitamins and minerals your puppy needs for good growth and development and a healthy start to life. Cobbydog Premium Puppy can also be fed to lactating bitches.
What is in Cobbydog Premium Puppy?
Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS):
This is a nutritional supplement that is becoming more popular in dog foods due to its beneficial pre-biotic effect. It encourages the growth of 'friendly bacteria' in the large intestine which promotes overall gastrointestinal (GI) health.
Yucca:
Extract from the yucca plant is said to naturally help the body remove toxins and facilitate digestion. Yucca extract may also reduce body odour as well as the smell of the urine/faeces.
Brewer's Yeast:
One of the best sources of natural B vitamins including B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (pyridoxine), B7 (biotin) and B9 (folic acid). These vitamins have a wide range of functions in dogs including aiding digestion, supporting the nervous system and keeping the skin, hair, eyes, mouth and liver healthy.
Yeast is also a good source of protein. It is known as a 'complete protein' since it contains all nine of the essential amino acids needed by dogs.
Linseed:
Also known as lax or flaxseed, Linseed contains high levels of good quality dietary fibre, lignans (natural antioxidants) and an abundance of other micronutrients.
Linseed's main benefit though is its high proportion of health-boosting omega-3 fatty acids. Although these aren't quite of the same standard as the omega-3's found in fish oils, they are still fantastic for your dog's health.
